DEXTER - Mrs. Cyrus C. Jenks, 47 years old, died Saturday night at her home at Portage lake. She was formerly Miss Elizabeth I. Trevarthen and was born July 13, 1890, at Champion.
She was married March 31, 1911, to Mr. Jenks, and they resided in Ypsilanti for 12 years before coming to Portage lake two years ago. She was a member of the Ypsilanti Methodist church and the O.E.S. of Ypsilanti.
Surviving are her husband: two daughters, Mrs. James L. Robinson, Ann Arbor, and Miss Betty Lee Jenks, at home; one son, Robert Jenks, at home; three sisters, Mrs. James Robb, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Nellie Tippett, Menominee, and Miss Sarah Trevarthen, Duluth, Minn.; and one brother, Garey Trevarthen, Kenosha, Wis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence at Portage lake, Rev. Herbert Brubaker officiating, and interment will be in Forest Lawn cemetery.
