Mrs. Bertha R. MacCready, 72, a resident here for 61 years before moving to Whitmore Lake nine years ago, died at her home there yesterday after a long illness.
Mrs. MacCready was born in New York City on Aug. 29, 1881. She was married to Walter McCready in 1928. He died 17 years ago.
She is survived by four nephews, Lloyd Wagner of South Bend, Ind., John Wagner of St. Petersburg, Fla., Martin Wagner of East Ann Arbor and George Wagner of California, and a niece, Evelyn, of California.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Staffan-Hildinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
