Ypsilanti Township Man Dies At Frankfort
YPSILANTI - Edward T. Welch, 40, of 116 Hewitt Rd., Ypsilanti township, died Saturday in a Frankfort, Mich., hospital.
Born Feb. 23, 1914, in Empire, Mich., he was the son of John T. and Mary A. Shauger Welch. He was married to Angeline Perlongo, July 18, 1942, in Ann Arbor. He was employed by the American Broach & Machine Co. in Ann Arbor.
Survivors are his wife; three children, Myron, Cheryl and Denise, all at home; five brothers, Norman, Raymond and Frank, all of Empire, Lawrence of Traverse City and Ceylon of Gregory; and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Boatz and Mrs. Ethel Kennedy, both of Maple City, Mich., and Mrs. Dorothy Tietz of Schwartz Creek, Mich.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. John's Catholic Church here. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in the Moore funeral home here and burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
