At a senatorial convenlion held in the Court House in Pontiac, Joseph Morrison Esq . was called to the chair, and A. P. Frost was appointed secretary. After ají informal Ballot, James G, Birney of Snginaw was Unanimously nominated as candidate for Senator. Resolved, tlmt the Secretary send the proceedings of the conventions to the Signal of Liberty for publication. Convention then adjournod sine díe.Pontiac Sept, 7th, 1842.
