Mrs. Mary L. Blakeslee, 63, a former Ann Arbor resident and the wife of Charles H. Blakeslee, died Wednesday night at her home in Detroit.
She was born Oct. 28, 1892, at Milan, a daughter of George P. and Alla Fuller Whaley. She married Mr. Blakeslee on Oct. 28, 1916. He survives.
They lived at Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids and for the past 23 years had lived in Detroit.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Donald Tinnett and Mrs. Harold Sullivan, and four grandchildren, all of Detroit; her mother, Mrs. Whaley; and a sister, Mrs. Walter C. Pomeroy, both living at 1016 Oakland Ave.
Funeral services are to be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. Duane L. Day officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after today.
