Mrs. Bertha B. Hiller, 83 years old, died yesterday afternoon at the Detroit home of a daughter, Mrs. Samuel Kain, where Mrs. Hiller had spent the past four months. Mrs. Hiller's home here was at 714 S. Seventh St. She was the widow of John F. Hiller whom she married in 1882. He preceded her in death in 1936.
Mrs. Hiller was born in Prussia Jan. 18, 1860, but came to Ann Arbor when 18 years old and had spent her life since then here. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic church and of the Altar Society of the church. She was also affiliated with the League of Catholic Women.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Kain and Mrs. Martha Wood, Redland, Calif.; two sons, Edward E. and George A. Hiller, both of Ann Arbor, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas church at 9 o'clock Monday morning and burial will be in St. Thomas cemetery. Friends may call at the son George's home, 718 S. Seventh St., after tomorrow noon. The Rosary will be recited there at 8 o'clock Sunday night.
