The subscribers dceni it proper to state, that a numberof horse powers were sold last year in the village of Ann Arbor whieh were believed by the purchasers to be those invented by S. W. Foster. nnd that most or all of thèrri were eithcr made materially different, or altered bel'ore sold, so ns to be inaterially different from those made and sold by the subscribers. Such nlterations being decidedly detrimento! to the utility of the machine. They have good renson to believe that every one of those returned by the purchasers as unsatislac tory were of this clnss. They are not aware that any Power that went from their .shop, and was put in use. as they made it, has been condtMnned or laid asido as a bad machine. Allwhowish Mbuyaie invited to examine theni and to enquire of those who have uscd ihem. There willbeonci'or examination at N. H.
