The following compliment from "th more favorable party, will doubtless b fully appreciated: A Whig Convention in Elyria has sen greeting to their Liberty friends, in th following style: "The Liberty party - a natural daught ter of WJiiggery, betrayed andabscondec with a darkcc, Yollowed, overtaken, anc seduced by a lokeefokee - having received a sound beating from the old lady, she i left for the present at the head of Salt Riv er, and there to weep in silence, her fee standing on slippery rockswhile fiery bil lows roll belovv."
