Herbert Pulfrey Passes At 67
Was Former Manager Of University Music House

Herbert George Pulfrey, 67, former manager of the University Music House who was well-known in Ann Arbor music circles, died suddenly at his home, 914 Lincoln Ave., on Tuesday morning, and funeral services were held for him at 11 o'clock today in Alma.
Mr. Pulfrey was born in Alma on April 2, 1876, and had lived in Ann Arbor for approximately 30 years. He retired from business eight years ago. He was a graduate of the University School of Music in 1900 and was known as a composer and conductor. He was a member of the Masons and of the Episcopal church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lillian McCullough of Alma, whom he married on June 5, 1901, and by two daughters, Mrs. Bruce Robertson of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Albert Baker of Chicago.
