Lewis E. Allmendinger, former Ann Arbor resident, died this noon at his home at 124 Ann Arbor St., Dexter. He was born Nov. 18, 1875, in Scio township, the son of Harvey D. and Maria B. Schaffer.
He was married Nov. 21, 1900, to Nellie Rounds of Howell. They resided in Ann Arbor 22 years, coming here from Clint. They moved to Dexter in 1934.
Besides the widow, he is survived by a sister, May A. Allmendinger of Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will he held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Muehlig chapel with Rev. A. A. Schoen officiating, and burial in Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
