Battle Creek, May 10 - Mrs. H. B. Earhart of Ann Arbor was elected president of the Federated Garden Clubs of Michigan at the state meeting here today. Mrs. George Dobbin of Jackson, W. Woodbridge Dickinson of St. Joseph and Mrs. Russell A. Alger of Grosse Pointe were named vice presidents.
Other officers are: Treasurer, Mrs. H. A. Musselman of Traverse City; recording secretary, Mrs. Aaron Riker of Pontiac; corresponding secretary, Mrs. James Inglis of Ann Arbor; and directors Mrs. Frederick Campbell, of Grosse Pointe, Mrs. Burritt Hamilton of Battle Creek, Mrs. Noyes Avery of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Paul Moon of Muskegon.
Three other Ann Arbor garden leaders were honored. Mrs. J. J. Walser will serve as co-editor of the Bulletin with Mrs. M. M. Kesterson of Grand Rapids and Prof. E. C. Goddard retains the chairmanship of highway beautification. Mrs. Henry C. Adams was reappointed publicity chairman for a second year. Saginaw was chosen for the convention next year.
