Former Chelsea Man Dies After Heart Attack
CHELSEA - Lawrence Wackenhut, 48, former Chelsea resident, died Tuesday at a hospital at Detroit following a heart attack.
Mr. Wackenhut was born July 11, 1908, at Chelsea, a son of Martin and Mary Mayer Wackenhut.
Survivors are his wife, Katherine, and a daughter, Mrs. Marsha Mitchell, both of Detroit; a brother, George of Detroit; and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Jopp of Detroit and Miss Edna Wackenhut of Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Neely Funeral Home at Detroit.
