Mrs. Emory A. Easton
Mrs. Clara Lau Easton, 55, wife of Emory A. Easton, died this morning at her home, 625 Fountain St., after a long illness.
She was born July 7, 1893, in Ann Arbor, a daughter of Christopher and Pauline Meier Lau. She was a lifelong resident of Ann Arbor, and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Easton was married to her husband on Jan. 24, 1917.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Robert Grams, Mrs. Donald Blair and Mrs. Charles Clark, all of Ann Arbor; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Harris of Seattle, Mrs. William Beck of South Bend, Washington, and Mrs. Arthur Gerstler of Ann Arbor.
Also surviving are seven brothers, Dr. C. D. Lau of Hollywood, Calif.; Albert, Leopold, Lewis, Conrad and Ellsworth Lau of Flint; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Muehlig Chapel, Rev. E. C. Stellhorn officiating. Burial will be made in Forest Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
