Mary Louise Silsbee

Mary Louise Silsbee, 81 years old, died last night at the home of her niece, Mrs. George W. Ransom, 431 Fourth St., after an illness of about three months.

She was born in Jackson County Sept. 19, 1864, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Silsbee. She spent most of her life in Jackson, where she was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal church, and came to Ann Arbor ten years ago to make her home with her niece.

Besides Mrs. Ransom, she is survived by another niece, Mrs. Minnie Fenderson, also of Ann Arbor, and two nephews, A. B. Pixley of Wilmington, Ill., and Ray Pixley of Munith, Mich.

Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at the Muehlig chapel, with Rev. Henry Lewis, rector of St. Andrew’s, officiating. Burial will be in Washtenong Memorial park. Friends may call at the chapel.
