Illness Fatal
A three months illness proved fatal yesterday to Albert S. Mayotte, 56, of 428 Spring St. He had been a member of The Ann Arbor News composing room staff for the past 28 years.

Albert S. Mayotte, 56, a member of The Ann Arbor News composing room staff for the past 28 years, died last night at his home, 428 Spring St., following an illness of three months.
Born Feb. 10, 1894, in Calumet, he was a son of Archie and Sarah Gaduoury Mayotte. He moved to Ann Arbor from Detroit 28 years ago.
Mr. Mayotte was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society. He also was a member of the International Typographical Union.
He married Anna Beauchene at Hubbell, Mich., on June 26, 1917. She survives.
Six Children Survive
Mr. Mayotte also leaves a son, Bernard, of Ann Arbor; five daughters, Mrs. Duane Pullen, Mrs. Robert Wing, Mrs. James Meldrum and Miss Marilyn Mayotte, all of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Frederick Banta of Milwaukee, Wis.; and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Archie of Jackson and Leon of Detroit; and three sisters, Mrs. Peter Montangue, Mrs. Harold Knight and Miss May Mayotte, all of Detroit.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tomorrow evening.
