Mrs. Phillip Stoll

CHELSEA—Mrs. Marjorie Stoll, 61, a former Chelsea resident who had lived at 140 Van Buren St., died Monday in a Phoenix, Ariz., hospital.
She was born Sept. 16, 1903, the daughter of William and Hannah Chesley Tompkins, and married Phillip F. Stoll March 23, 1931. They lived in Chelsea until Mr. Stoll’s death in 1956.
Mrs. Stoll then moved to California for a short time, and then moved to Phoenix, where she had lived for the past eight years.
Surviving are one son, Frederick, of Milan; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Phyllis) Young of Ypsilanti and Susan, now living in Germany; three brothers, Eugene Tompkins of Dexter, William Tompkins and Phillip Tompkins, both of Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. Clinton Collyer of Chelsea and Mrs. Donald Fogg of Phoenix; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Tempe Mortuary, Tempe, Ariz., at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Further services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Staffan Funeral Home in Chelsea, the Rev. Robert A. J. Livingston officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Friends may call at the Funeral Home beginning Sunday.
