Nikola Babich

Nikola Babich, 67, died Wednesday evening at Veterans Hospital, after a long illness.
He was born July 6, 1892, in Austria, a son of Bob and Amelia Lucas Babich. He lived in Battle Creek for a number of years. He was employed as a railroad worker, and was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife Amelia, and a son.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Staffan-Hildinger Funeral Home. The Rev. A. Theodore Halstead will officiate. Burial will be made in Fairview Cemetery.
