CHELSEA ̶ Mrs. Ellen Burkhart, 95 years old, a resident of North Lake most of her life, died yesterday at the home of her son, Claude, in Park Ridge, Ill.
She was born Aug. 9, 1843, in Lyndon township, the daughter of John and Ellen Molyneau Twamley. She was married to Francis Burkhart, who died in 1913. She had resided with her son in Park Ridge for the past four years.
Surviving in addition to her son are: a daughter, Flora, also of Park Ridge; a grandson; and a stepdaughter; Mrs. Clara Hawley, of Toledo, O. Another son, William, died in 1917.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Sunday afternoon at the Plankell funeral home here, Rev. Herbert Brubaker of Dexter officiating, and interment will be in the North Lake cemetery.
