Todd Services
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Cavanaugh Funeral Home in Jackson for Pfc. Leon Daniel Todd, 21, formerly of Ann Arbor, the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Todd of 3166 Platt Rd., East Ann Arbor.
Pfc. Todd was killed in action in Korea on Sept. 6, 1950, when hit by artillery shell fragments. An enlistee in the U. S. Army Infantry, he had been overseas more than a year.
He was born in Ann Arbor in August, 1929, and later moved to Jackson. He was the son of the late Earl Leon Todd and Mrs. Ethel Maule of Jackson.
Two sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Hamblin and Mrs. Ralph Weaver, and a brother, Kenneth Todd, all of Jackson, survive. An uncle, Lyle M. Todd of 2906 South St., East Ann Arbor, and an aunt, Mrs. Beatrice Murphy, of 1343 Rosewood Ave., also survive.
