Native Of County Dies At Rest Home
YPSILANTI—Mrs. Ida M. Greene, 90, a native of Washtenaw county, died Saturday at the Stinson Rest Home. She lived at 914 Sherman Ct.
Mrs. Greene was born Sept. 3, 1863, at Ann Arbor, a daughter of Edwin A. and Celestia Wyckoff Curtis. On Sept. 30, 1886, she was married to George J. Greene at Ann Arbor. Mr. Green died in February, 1908.
Mrs. Greene was a member of the First Methodist Church here, and belonged to the Elizabeth Circle of the Women’s Society of Christian Service.
Survivors include a son, Leon of Ypsilanti; two daughters, Miss Edna and Miss Leola Greene, both of Ypsilanti; and a sister, Mrs. J. D. Slemons of Long Beach, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stevens & Bush Funeral Home, the Rev. Foster Holt officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Ann Arbor. Friends may call at the funeral home.
