Architectural Plans Laid To Revitalize Town: Prof. Glen S. Paulsen (seated at lower left in dark coat), and Prof. C. Theodore Larson (seated at upper left in light coat), both of the University's College of Architecture and Design faculty, work with a class of graduate students in the former Ann Arbor branch post office building on E. University working on designs for revitalization of Reed City. The Northwestern Michigan community near Cadillac has been losing population at the rate of 100 persons per year for the last 10 years and asked the U-M for help in reversing the trend. All of the students shown here, several of whom are from foreign nations, have served as practicing architects before coming to Ann Arbor for graduate studies.
