Age 80, died Wednesday, October 17, 1984 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was born July 22, 1904, in Ann Arbor, the son of Patrick J. and Eliza Byrne Walsh. He was a life long Ann Arbor resident. Mr. Walsh was married to Helen Cody in Ann Arbor in 1943 and she survives. He had been employed with the Ford Motor Co., retiring in 1969. Survivors, in addition to his wife, are: one son, Edward W. of Gaithersburg, Maryland; one brother, James A. Walsh of Midland; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Cremation has taken place. A Scripture Service will be held Sunday afternoon, Oct. 21, 3:30 p.m. at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Father Robert Lunsford officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Cardiac Care Unit, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
