William F. Kinsley
SALINE - William Frederick Kinsley, 81, a lifelong resident of this area, died last night at a local hospital after a long illness. His home was at 214 N. Ann Arbor St.
Mr. Kinsley was born June 13, 1873, in Freedom township to William Frederick and Mary Ann Landwehr Kinsley. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Hack Kinsley, who died in August, 1942, a son, Miles, who died in infancy, and a half brother, Charles Scheffler.
Survivors are a son, Lauren W. Kinsley; a sister, Mrs. Christine Thompson of British Columbia; a half-brother, George Scheffler, and a half-sister, Mrs. Clara Kalmbach, both of Lodi township; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Lockwood Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alvin Siemsen in charge. Burial will be made in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
