Richard Robinson:

He's Working For United Fund

Richard M. Robinson, a partner in the architectural firm of Colvin, Robinson, Wright & Associates, will serve as chairman of building trades division “A” in next fall’s United Fund campaign.

Working for the United Fund is not new to Robinson. He served as a building trades division chairman for campaigns in 1961 and 1962, and is a former member of the UF budget committee. Robinson is willing to devote time to the work of the United Fund because he “believes in it.”

Robinson is treasurer of the Huron Valley Chapter, American Institute of Architects, and a member of the Lions Club, the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Club, and First Presbyterian Church.

He was graduated from the U-M College of Architecture and has been an Ann Arbor resident since 1946.

He and his wife, Alma, live at 605 Huron View Blvd. They have one son, Sidney, 21, a student in the architectural school at Columbia University.

Robinson will work with 18 other division leaders in the UF drive scheduled from Oct. 20 to Nov. 12. Funds collected finance the work of 52 agencies, 16 of them local.
