Support Group for Parents of Suicidal Children

[img_assist|nid=364846|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=79]A new support group for parents caring for children with suicidal thoughts and behaviors will have its first meeting on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 7pm-8:30pm. This meeting will be held at the [http://washtenawisd.org/|Washtenaw Intermediate School District (WISD)] building located at 1819 South Wagner Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48103.
This new support group will be led by trained [https://www.nami.org/|National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)] volunteers, and is a collaborative effort with NAMI Washtenaw County, [http://www.ewashtenaw.org/government/departments/public_health/|Washtenaw County Public Health,] [http://www.ewashtenaw.org/government/departments/community_mental_health/|Community Mental Health,] [http://www.depressioncenter.org/|University of Michigan Depression Center] and the WISD.
Please note that participants will be the parents or guardians of children (middle-school aged to 25 years old) who are currently exhibiting suicidal thoughts or behaviors, or have done so in the recent past.
