Fiegel, Enoch G.

Age 75, passed away yesterday, Oct. 20, 1975 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was born March 17, 1900 in Pittsfield Township, the son of John E. and Olga Bauer Fiegel. A resident of Ann Arbor his entire life, he married Hazel D. Schroen March 7, 1934. Mr. Fiegel was a farmer most of his life and was employed at the University of Michigan in animal research, retiring in 1966. He was a member of Stony Creek Arbor of Gleaners. Survivors include: his wife, Hazel; one son, George E. of Ann Arbor; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Marilyn) Anderson of Saline; six grandchildren; one nephew, Carl Aprill of Anchorage, Alaska. He was preceded in death by a brother, John H. Fiegel in 1928 and a sister, Laura L. Aprill in 1948. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. from the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. Robert L. Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Saline. Friends may call at the chapel from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Heart Association.
