Hello!

I have a question regarding the eligibility of those whom may benefit from funding.
Are these funds avalaible to international students like F2 visa holders?Non citizens?

Thank you !

Thanks for your question. I've asked presenter Karen Downing and here's her response:

Many of the scholarships require U.S. citizenship, but there are ways to manipulate 2 of the databases to specify non-US citizenship and/or to find funders that don’t care about citizenship.

I won't be able to attend the session on the 20th, but plan on coming to one in November. I'm looking for information on how to pay for grad school. Will that be covered? Thanks in advance. -Jen

On November 3 or November 4 (7:00-8:30 p.m.) at the Pittsfield Computer Training Center you can search two scholarship and grant databases available at the University of Michigan libraries. Presenters Karen Downing and Jen Bonnet will log each station into the UM system to allow searching that normally is only available at one of the university libraries. There will be a brief explanation of how best to search the databases and then participants may search and print out grant and scholarship information.

Registration is required: online | in person at any information desk | or call 327-4555.
