Rev. Arley F. Osborn Takes Pilgrim Holiness Pulpit

The Rev Arley F. Osborn is the new pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness Church here at 411 Fountain St., succeeding the Rev. D. Wayne Brown who has moved to the First Pilgrim Holiness Church in Flint after three years here.

The Rev. Mr. Osborn a native of Sanilac county, comes here a church at The Heights, Houghton Lake.

A Naval Veteran of World War I, the Rev. Mr. Osborn has a minister since 1925. He has held pastorates at Lansing, North Branch, Muskegon, Ellsworth and Merrill.

He is now in his 17th year as treasurer of the Michigan Conference of the Pilgrim Holiness denomination.

A graduate of Cleary College at Ypsilanti, he received his religious training at Owosso Bible College. His wife was graduated from Marion College at Marion, Ind.

They are now living in the church parsonage at 821 Gott St. They have three grown children and two grandchildren. A son Howard, has just returned from Air Force service in Germany as a first lieutenant. Another son, Paul F., and a daughter, Iris Jean, both live in Lansing.
