Grandpa Does the Honors: Adults sometimes use the kids as an excuse to enjoy the carnival rides and sometimes they have to go along. Whatever the reason in this case, Harry Sloan of Brighton accompanies his grandson, Steve Derr of Ann Arbor, and a friend, Linda Dale, also of Ann Arbor, on a ferris wheel ride at the Junior Chamber of Commerce's annual Merchant's and Builder's Show.
