Fingerle Lumber renovates itself

Fingerle Lumber Co. has shifted its operations. All sales will be done at the Fingerle Sales Center, 617 S. Fifth Ave. in Ann Arbor. Also, the company now has a Product Showcase where its Cash-Way store used to be.

Until recently, Fingerle had both the Sales Center on South Fifth and the Cash-Way store across the street at 214 E. Madison St.

Customers used Cash-Way for cash, check or charge purchases. The Full Service division was used for purchases that required special services such as delivery.

Now, however, all sales will be handled by a combined staff at the Sales Center.

John Fingerle, president of the company, explained that the new Product Showcase will be for customers who envision major projects, say the building of a house. Working with planners, they’ll see windows, doors, hardware, millwork, kitchens - all the stuff that delights and befuddles.

The Showcase is open but as part of Fingerle’s new plan, is undergoing renovation itself. Look for a finished place in January.
