Railroad Photographer To Show Films

THURSDAY NOV 14 1974

Emery Gulash, considered one of the nation’s most recognized photographers of railroading, will present a program of his movies in Ann Arbor Friday evening at the regular monthly meeting of the Ann Arbor Train and Trolly Watchers.

The meeting, which is open without charge to all, will begin at 8 p.m. in the auditorium of- St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 306 N. Division Street.

Gulash, who has traveled to virtually all parts of North America during the past three decades to make pictures, will screen a show covering steam, electric and diesel power on the railroads, including scenes made in Michigan and nearby areas. Because he is moving to Florida soon, his Ann Arbor show will be one of the last showings of his work in Michigan. He is a member of both the Ann Arbor club and the Michigan Railroad Club, and his still photographs have appeared frequently in railroad publications and on calendars showing railroad operations and equipment.
