The Final Call

“Honey, I picked up Cassie from her extra karate lesson and on our way home,” said Martha.

“That’s great! Tell her I just bought her a new teddy bear,” replied James.

“Because of the traffic jam right now, we may not be home in an hour.” complained Martha.

“It's okay, I'll wait for you two.”

Inside the car, Cassie said “Mommy, there are lots of speeding cars around us.”

“Not now sweetie, mommy's on the phone,”

“Mom? MOM! LOOK OUT!” yelled Cassie.

“WHAT! Cassie? Can't you see I'm on the pho-”
