Miss Calvert Wins Rotary Scholarship
Gwendolyn Calvert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burgess Calvert of 626 N. Fourth Ave., has been awarded the Ann Arbor Rotary Club scholarship to the University.
The one-year scholarship is renewable if the student’s work at the University is satisfactory.
Miss Calvert, a Negress, was graduated in June from Ann Arbor High School. At that time she received the University of Michigan Alumni scholarship, women's division.
