Description
Since 2009, the University of Michigan Depression Center, in partnership with Washtenaw County schools, has implemented the Peer-to-Peer Depression Awareness Program (P2P) in order to 1) educate middle and high school students about depression, anxiety, and related illnesses and 2) support them in finding creative ways to convey this knowledge to their peers in order to reduce stigma, raise awareness, and encourage help-seeking when needed.
Now in twenty-eight schools throughout Washtenaw County, this exhibit is a collection of posters and artwork created by middle and high school students as part of their student-led mental health awareness campaigns spanning the past decade.
