March 31st is International Transgender Day of Visibility. A day for trans people to be seen for who they are: artists, athletes, cashiers, construction workers, fathers, mothers, teachers, truckers, and much more.

This exhibit reveals the many perspectives of transgender people who live each day among cisgender people (people who identify with the gender assigned at birth).

Invisibility can be alienating, but so can hyper visibility. This exhibit reminds us that each individual is complex and defined by more than their gender.

This collage is made up of art and writing submitted by Ann Arbor community members. It represents transgender people and cisgender people, family, friends, and allies in unity.
