Join Tricia Hampo, instructor at the Ann Arbor Art Center, and learn how to create a painting collage!

Using a few of your favorite photos as inspiration, we will loosely paint an image from them. Don’t get too attached to your finished paintings as we are going to tear them up, mix them up, and recreate a new image by designing a collage from the pieces. We’ll discuss tearing and adhesive techniques, texture, composition, and color to create a successful piece of art. Most importantly, enjoy the process, and watch your images transform into a piece you’ll proudly want to display or gift!
