Age 77, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 1976 in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. Mrs. Bacon was born March 8, 1899 in Tustin, Mich. She resided in Detroit, Tucson, Ariz. and for the past 20 years in Ann Arbor. She was the widow of Donald H. Bacon who was founder of the Central Fibre Products of Chelsea, Mich. Mr. Bacon passed away July 4, 1970. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Kelley Rollings of Tucson, Ariz. and four grandchildren, Bradley, Donald, Betsy and Anne. Mrs. Bacon was graduated from Wayne State University. She was a teacher in the Detroit Public Schools from 1919 to 1926. She was a member of the Detroit Housing commission from 1932 to 1936. She was President of Bacon Industries and Bacon Development. She was a member of the State Board for public, community and junior colleges from 1963 to 1976. She was a member of the Musical Therapy Board for the U.S.V.A. Hospital in Ann Arbor and a member of the Board of Olivet College Women's Auxiliary. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service. Donations made to the Jerry H. Bacon Memorial Fund for the Chelsea Community Hospital, c/o Dr. Michael Papo, 775 S. Main St., Chelsea, Mich. Arrangements by:
