The Ann Arbor District Library service area overlaps with a LOT of Washtenaw County and township parks. After all, we do serve several townships beyond Ann Arbor city limits! For this badge, you'll be on the northeast side of AADL's district!
In order to get this BADGE, you'll have to visit some beautiful Washtenaw County and Superior Township sites and find the main sign for each park or preserve! Your codes will all be based off the sign itself or the nearby surrounding area!
Some park signs are closer to the entrance than to the parking area and some parks are adjacent to private property. You may need to park and walk a few feet to inspect the signs. You may also need to drive on dirt roads. Please be respectful of the neighbors of these parks, and PLEASE be safe and aware of traffic when seeking out the park signs! You've got all summer to find these, so no rush!
Below are the SPECTACULAR places this badge will lead you to with the links to the county or township pages for each park. And here's a map to help you find each sign. Use this map to know EXACTLY where each sign is! Street addresses and google maps can be misleading! Plan your own route and be careful!

Can't make it to these parks? Has construction season foiled all your park exploring plans? No worries! If you won't be making the trip, here's a handy guide to get your CODES!

These were do much fun, will there be more of these badges?
So glad you enjoyed it! It's just the three parks badges this year. More driving involved than in previous years, so we didn't want to overdo it. Not out of the question that there will more park-related things next year. Thanks for playing! :)
Bless you for making this so we don’t actually have to go to the parks. Between my husbands overtime and the mosquitoes, we’re not able to go out much.
