The Ann Arbor District Library service area overlaps with a LOT of Washtenaw County and township parks. We do serve several townships outside of Ann Arbor city limits, after all! For THIS badge, you'll be in the wild western areas of AADL's district!
In order to get this BADGE, you'll have to visit some beautiful Washtenaw County and Scio Township sites and find the main sign for each park or preserve! Your codes will all be based off the sign itself or the nearby surrounding area!
Some park signs are closer to the entrance than to the parking area and some parks are adjacent to private property. You may need to park and walk a few feet to inspect the signs. You may also need to drive on dirt roads. Please be respectful of the neighbors of these parks, and PLEASE be safe and aware of traffic when seeking out the park signs! You've got all summer to find these, so no rush!
Below are the SPECTACULAR places this badge will lead you to with the links to the county or township pages for each park. And here's a map to help you find each sign. Use this map to know EXACTLY where each sign is! Street addresses and google maps can be misleading! Plan your own route and be careful!
Can't make it to these parks? Has construction season foiled all your park exploring plans? No worries! If you won't be making the trip, here's a handy guide to get your CODES!

The writing on the Fox Science Preserve is too small for my old eyes to read. Help!
Went ahead and redeemed the code for you. You’re all set for Fox Science. Thanks for playing!
In case it's useful to other badge-seekers: I had no Internet access at Burns Stokes Preserve, so while I was there I couldn't enter the code, or look up directions to the next location. (It all worked out fine - I was just surprised to be off the net.) So you may want to plan ahead for that. My connectivity seemed a little iffy at Fox Science Preserve, too. My cell service is through Ting, which is on the Sprint network - other networks may of course be different.
Im sorry to hear that :((
