THE RACE IS ON: Two contestants at the Angell School playground chew their way through a wet track in watermelon eating contest held yesterday as part of the summer recreation program. Gerald Krausse, 5, of 1702 Geddes Rd. is competing with Sally Bates, 12, of 1828 Vinewood Blvd. To make the job more difficult, the youngsters have their hands tied behind their backs.
