Exquisite gowns in the audience vied with the elegant gowns on stage at the festive president's reception last night. Gowned in yellow brocade was Mrs. Frederick H. Wagman escorted by her husband, director of the University Libraries. The Wagmans live on Lincoln Avenue. Some 20,000 New Yorkers will see the local production in December.
