'Treasure Tree': Lynn Bottum, Jim Knight and Tom Ufer (left to right) decorate a "Treasure Tree" with balls of wool yarn in which children from the first and second grades of the First Congregational Church school have wrapped tiny toys. The gifts will be sent to Algerian refugee centers in Tunisia and Morocco where mothers are being taught to knit. The toys will be given to refugee children. The refugee centers are maintained by the American Friends Service committee which has planned the yarn balls as a service project. Mrs. H. M. Crooks, jr., is superintendent of the local church school's primary department.
