'Would You Like To Help?' Distributed this week were some 6,500 copies of a directory of volunteer opportunities compiled by women members of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Examining the booklets are (left to right) Mrs. K. Robert Morris, booklet committee head; Mrs. C. W. Carpenter, representing the Washtenaw County Hospital Auxiliary and Mrs. Thomas J. Powell, member of the Faculty Women's Newcomers group and St. Francis Altar Society. The directory lists the needs of 70 community organizations.

Looking At Handicrafts Members of Girl Scout Troops sponsored by St. Francis of Assisi Church's Altar Society have been working on items which will be sold at the Altar Society's biennial bazaar. Molly Bush (from left) shows one of the bookmarks the groups made to Teresa Ruddy and Karen Robinson. Also on display are Raggedy Ann Dolls and Christmas decorations which will be available at the bazaar which will be open from noon until 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis School.

To Play For Flowers: Members and guests of St. Francis Alter Society will compete for these centerpieces at the Society's Telephone Bridge Card Party to be held in individual homes Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings. The prizes and centerpieces are being made by (left to right) Mrs. Stephen Daniels, Mrs. Richard Winchester, Mrs. Duane Mannlein and Mrs. Robert Kovac.
