Mitchell School sixth graders were Spaniards and Greeks and Frenchmen for a day as they staffed their European booths in the "International Fair" rising out of their social studies unit. Assisted by teacher Peri Gagalis and student teacher Sara Brizdle, the youngsters set up four booths, southern and western Europe being shown here, which were stocked with pictures, products and information about the various continental countries.

The tree was part of a science and art fair in which all of Abbot's 552 children displayed work. The fair was held in conjunction with Michigan Week. These children are in Mrs. Nancy Michel's class.
