HAVEN FOR SAILORS: Boating is becoming one of America's most popular sports. Amateur sailors are discovering that sailboating in particular is a healthful and extremely pleasurable form of recreation. In the many lakes and in the broader stretches of the Huron river, there are ample facilities for sailing, including little harbors such as the one pictured above, which is just east of Ypsilanti. This picture is one of a series showing the possibilities of the Huron-Clinton valley becoming a recreation area to serve all Southeastern Michigan.
