Published In:
Ann Arbor News, May 14, 1948
Caption:
SOMETHING MISSING: What's wrong with this picture? That's right, the trees that used to grace the curb in front of the University's Lane Hall, headquarters of the Student Religious Association, are gone. They were cut down and hauled away this week by employes of the University's plant department. The space where the trees formerly were growing will be covered with concrete in an extension of the sidewalk. Traffic on S. State St. was hampered during the tree-removal.
