A displaced Latvian family, brought here under sponsorship of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, is welcomed upon their arrival by Rev. Henry Lewis, pastor, and Earl J. Bell, project chairman. Shown (left to right) are Bell; nine-year-old Hugo Martinsons; his father, Aleksander; and mother, Herta; his one-year-old brother, Aleksander and Rev. Mr. Lewis. The family has spent the last five years in Germany. They fled to Germany from Riga, Latvia, after the third invasion - first the Russians, then the Germans, and finally the Russians again.
