WINS MEDAL HONORS: Mabel Nesbit, shown here, set the pace in the qualifying round of the women's city tournament yesterday at the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Club which she toured in 84 strokes, three strokes better than her nearest rival Peggy Malloy. The medalist was out in 43 and came home in 41, the best score of the day on the second nine.

CLASH TOMORROW FOR CITY TITLE: Mrs. Mabel Nesbit (left) and Elizabeth Clapham, 18-year-old girl, will tangle at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing club with the Ann Arbor women's city golf title at stake. They will play an 18-hole match. Mrs. Nesbit was the medalist in this tournament with an 84. Miss Clapham eliminated the defending champion, Susanne Kessler, in the opening round of match play.
