Ann Arbor News boy gets antique pinball machine from 1933 World's Fair, June 1964 Photographer: Duane Scheel

Year:
1964
Published In:
Ann Arbor News, June 27, 1964
Caption:
PAPERBOY'S BONUS: Wes Luckhardt (right) of 1502 Ottawa and Fred Oberdick of 1503 Ottawa show off an "antique" pinball machine which Wes considers as an unexpected bonus from his Ann Arbor News delivery route. The device is a relic from the 1933 World's Fair and -- with the right combination of tripped springs and levers -- puts together a jigsaw puzzle map of the fairgrounds. He was given the machine by two of his newspaper customers on Northside Ave.
