PLAQUE PLACED: A plaque honoring former U. S. Senator Royal S. Copeland was given to the village of Dexter by the Dexter Women's Club in ceremonies Saturday. The plaque was mounted on the village library. Copeland was instrumental in obtaining the library. Observing the plaque (left to right) are Mrs. Robert Lyndon, president of the Dexter Women's Club; Millard Harvey, village council president; and Dr. Carleton W. Angell of the University, who designed and executed the plaque.

Church Decorated For Christmas: Yuletide decorations of evergreen and other wintertime foliage were appearing this week and before in many of Ann Arbor's churches. At the First Congregational Church, the Double M Club trimmed the church altar around a four-foot-high statue of the Madonna and Child by Prof. Carleton W. Angell of the University Museums.
